5/29 Kids Power Conference: What is happiness? Would you like to be confident or cocky?

Wow! Last Friday our Kids Power Conference talked about positive energy. The kids did their one min speech on what can make them happy the most and how do they feel when they are happy. And how long do they want this feeling to last! Kids made their own happy bracelets. Each of them are very different and has different meanings.

We also discussed how to define happiness in a scientific way, which mean triggering the serotonin in our body to make us happy 😊!

And we had a very interesting topic to discuss in the conference:
Cockiness is wearing a mask and Confidence is wearing a crown. Which one do you want to wear?

It was so amazing to hear from the kids on this big topic! We need more positive energy in all the changes because of the Covid19.

Successful Fun Day at the Richmond Children’s Arts Festival

It was a successfully fun day at the Children’s Arts Festival. The fantastic lion dance served as the opening.
Our Kids Power’s reporters interviewed with a lot of parents and kids who were highly enjoying the festival. Kids were having lots of fun in doing arts and crafts.

They also talked with the City of Richmond, Councillor Bill McNulty about what is the best for the kids. He said, “ It was great to see that the kids were interacting , not just admiring a piece of still art.” This is very well said. Arts are supposed to be a great media to inspire each other with actions follow.
Our reporters also talked with the 3 champions who just won their hockey game at the provincial competition. They shared their view about fun and the importance of playing sports.
At the end, the kids met with the Manager in charge who invited Kids Power to participate in the festival. The kids asked a lot of questions including the history of the festival to the future plan of the festival.
What an experience!
