  1. Praise for Kids Power Academy: Superheroes Assembly!

Kids are the new supers! These junior superheros battle bad guys and environmental disasters.

But the true heroes are their alter egos, the real-life kids who wrote and illustrated the book! They are learning valuable entrepreneurial skills, first publishing and now promoting their own work. And the book sales benefit BC Children's Hospital. It's a win-win-win!

I was particularly touched that many of their stories had environmental themes. These are the heroes our world needs today.

    Go Kids Power Society!

  2. I read Kids Power Academy: Superheroes assembly many, many times. It has lots of crazy ideas and imagination . I wrote Ch. 2 and 7. I really like Chapter 7 because my message is don’t be an ignorant and you need to have an identity.

The story happened on planet Cherry and planet Ice. Aliens there, they didn’t have their own identities and they were being ignorant. They don’t want to change. On Cherry, the aliens only call themselves “Cute Cherry”. They name each other by numbers. Whoever started the conversation first would be named Cute Cherry 1, who talked next would be Cute Cherry 2, 3, 4, …etc.
But they always fought to be the first, and kept fighting until they became rotten every day. But don’t worry, they have revival power. They will look fresh again in the morning. This endless fighting made them didn’t want to talk with each other anymore. They ignored each other and treated everyone like they did not exist.
One Cute Cherry knew it was a big problem; no one was talking to each other anymore. So first, he gave himself a name, Sludge Cherry. He is a special cherry. He has more power than other Cute Cherrys.
He met a girl named Oceana on planet Ice. Oceana explains that Ice had the same problem too. They became best friends. They fought the villain, Dr White, and the acidic water dragon. After defeating the acidic dragon and Dr White, everyone realized they should not be ignorant. And they should have their own identities.

I really like the message. I like my own name. And the story reminded me to face problems, not to ignore them.

  3. My name is Ryder, I am turning 6 this month.

In "kids power academy: superheroes assembly" this book, I like chapter 9 the most. It is about popcorn invaders. It is super funny that the popcorn becomes alive in this store and all girls screamed together because they like the same type of popcorn. What a coincidence! I love this story because popcorn is my favorite snack.

I like psychic girl this superhero because she can read people's mind. I wish i would have such power in my real life.

  4. My favorite chapters are chapter 2 and 8.

In chapter 2, lady JJ met Dragon boy and Lightning girl. it's about dragon boy got scared and when lightning girl saw lady JJ and told her to help dragon boy calm on cool down. then lady JJ wanted dragon boy and lightning girl to join the group. Also, it's about the poop recycle. it is so interesting!

In chapter 8,the message is "forgiveness". it's about three friends trying to put out a highest temperature ifire by Mho. After Mho knew how his parents died. it's so cool! I like this book because there are so many interesting characters in this book, and all of them have cool super power.i also like the pictures in the book. for example, the lightning girl's mask. it's my favorite color purple. i hope more people could read this book, because it is funny and attractive.

  5. My favorite chapter in the book is chapter 4.It is a very unique and funny chapter. It is very unique in the way that the superheroes are saving themselves instead of other people. They have to put a talent show on to save Smash-man. Also it is funny in the beginning when the superheroes wake up late for the limousine ride and freak out and than they keep on fighting on who to build a statue of.The dialogues are funny and humorous.

  6. I recently joined the leadership and entrepreneur program. i am going to tell you about the book today. my favorite character in the book is Dragon Boy because he is really funny. I think he is really funny because he poops out poops and the bad guy thinks they are cupcakes but they are really bombs.

My favorite chapter in this book is chapter 5 ultra Ukuzwa is a friend! in the chapter, the Apple army shows up. Galastic girl (Galaxia) & princess ivy (Mia) try to stop them. Ultra Ukuzwa shows up. It is a scene of fear when ultra Ukuzwa shows up. When James, lady JJ, Lightning girl, dragon boy and the others, show up, lady JJ next tens them to stop laughing. Lighting girl and dragon boy make a colorful stinker. The apple army and princess Brianna are about to run away but the colorful stinker is trowing poop bomb cupcakes. Princess Briana is attracted to it. Luckily, she gets tied up in time. When dragon boy poops, ultra Ukuzwa sees it and the team realizes they were wrong. Ultra Ukuzwa realizes it was poop! The moral of the story is don't judge a book by it's cover.

I recommend this book ages 5 and up because i think it would be more familiar for a kid to read another kid's writing. Also, i recommend it to people who really like action and thriller stories.
