Coding, often considered the exclusive language of computing, the bridge for humans to cross to communicate with the softwares. I, the initiator of Kids Power Society and Creator of Superbund, and our Manager, Alvin, has been given the opportunity to attend a two-day workshop hosted by the IOS Club by Apple to learn about XCode, Unity and the amazing spatial computing functions of Apple Vision Pro.
During our workshops, we began to “Think Differently” in how we can use the apps. When coding in XCode, we were taught to edit the code AI generated for us, which made us think about the development still needed for AI to perfect it’s responses, or perhaps the prompting of our requests. When operating Unity to create a simple ball game, we learned that game-programming is actually more related to reality and science than we think as played around with the gravity of the ball and the movement.
Besides all the technical aspects and activities, we were thrilled to try out and familiarize ourselves with the interior designs to immense coding applications that built the very software of the technology product introduced by a team of friendly and intelligent programmers, developers and designers, and try out spatial computing with apps within the Apple Vision Pro, my personal favorite being the Marvel What If…game to 3D making in a AR environment.
This experience was not only intellectually stimulating but also profoundly enriching and unforgettable.
