Who are we, human?
This is his opinion.

We evolved from one of the first life forms on the planet. We, Homo Sapiens evolved from a fish. Studies have proven, time and again, us human beings evolved from fish. No one knows how fish turned into something else that slowly led up to the creation of the genus Homo. Soon after, all species of the genus homo went extinct except for the current one, what you are. Homo Sapiens.
The moment we humans set foot on this world, it instantly changed. We developed tools, we created a full on language, and formed communities. Slowly, we made advances in technology. Wood to stone. Rags to clothes. Nomads to villages. And these are just a few. But in the process, we have destroyed others to make our rises to sophistication. Entire forests have been eradicated. Animals have been driven to extremes. The ground has been carved hollow.
So many think that nature shall punish us for being foolish. And it has. The world has sent upon Covid-19 to punish us. To force us into hiding. Nature is letting the planet recover by keeping us away. The planet does not need us. It actually does better without humans. Animals have space to recover natural instincts. The land wishes us to remember, we are here because of the planet. We must treat the planet like how we treat our home. Covid-19 has made us remember. We are not the best. Nature will always win.
Some estimates say that the planet will run out of resources by about 2050. Other more conservative estimates say in about 100 years. Either way, the Earth is losing resources fast. Covid-19 is trying to get us to find different ways to conserve resources. Our current consumption rate is so high, it needs to retreat to when it was during the great compression. We need to stop the resource vacuum that is humanity.
People are beginning to realize that some of Earth’s natural resources are beginning to drain, and fast. But globally, the huge problem that is lack of natural resources still is mostly ignored. Imagine this. Climate change, resource consumption, covid 19 are all lined up in front of the world's news camera. The camera takes a photo of covid-19, climate change, but skips resource consumption. That is what is going on with the planet right now.
In conclusion,We need to stop this. We need to remember that this is our home, and if we destroy it, we will be homeless. Take consideration of this.
